July 7 - Last week the Embassy celebrated America’s Independence Day with a tremendous party. I was happy to see so many friends and make many new acquaintances at our reception. There was a lot of delicious American food, entertainment from the 7th Fleet Band from Yokosuka, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck from Disney, and our national anthem sung by rising star BENI.
